- Richard2025年10月12日This one’s a scrappy gem from South Korea’s sci-fi vault. Space Sweepers imagines a future where Earth is choking on pollution and orbital junk is big business. The crew of the Victory, led by a brooding ex-soldier, a badass captain, a wisecracking robot and a grumpy engineer. The aren’t heroes, but survivors. Until they find Dorothy, a mysterious child who might be a weapon, a miracle, or both. The visuals are stunning, especially for a film made on a fraction of a Hollywood budget. The action is kinetic, the humor lands and the found family dynamic gives it heart. It’s got shades of Guardians of the Galaxy, but with a distinctly Korean soul: class struggle, corporate dystopia and emotional beats that sneak up on you. You saw it maybe first on Netflix like I did and it probably surprised you. It’s not perfect, the plot gets tangled and some exposition feels heavy, but it’s earnest, energetic and full of charm. The kind of movie you didn’t expect to love, but you did. It’s not just space junk. It’s a story worth salvaging.
