England, 12th century. David Trent is a nobleman who forms an outlaw group to combat his evil uncle Sir Edgar Bullard. Bullard has kidnapped Louise, the daughter of his rival Lord Markham. The outlaws of Sherwood Forest are championing young Roger Mowbray too, whose right to the throne is being usurped by the evil regent Lord Hampton.
