Where to Watch Solo: A Star Wars Story

Positives: - The movie is well made, well directed, well shot, well edited, and well paced - The movie visually looks amazing like pretty much every other Star Wars movie. The cinematography, CGI, and green screens all look great - The movie has a simple, yet effective premise that hooks you with the opening scene - The cast is stacked and all do a good job - Most of the characters are fun - There are a lot of fun action and heist sequences that are executed very well. Negatives: - The dialogue is very generic - The comedy isn’t the greatest - The film does not work as an origin story to Han Solo Overall Solo is a fun enough time that I still recommend checking out if you haven’t seen it yet.

- ZokkiieFebruary 27, 2026Gave this another watch, and honestly, it’s not half bad. The characters have a ton of charm — the banter and chemistry really sell their friendship and heist crew dynamics. The action sequences, especially the Kessel run and that crazy tentacle creature scene, are a blast and actually tense in a way the first watch didn’t feel. Some of the story beats are predictable, and a few scenes feel a little rushed or thrown together, but it’s got enough humor, style, and energy to keep you entertained. Definitely better the second time around than I expected.

- Justafilmguy69December 31, 2025eat your disneyslop. eat it i said. and smile while you do it. just like they do in the movie. everyone smiles so much all the time it gets unsettling. dude sees his gf is getting pounded by a mega evil guy , better crack the ol happy face :))))) horrible lighting in every scene it's so dark and washed out. chaotic action scenes that feel like too much is happening but also nothing happens at the same time. just a terrible movie made by looking at tik tok stats by blue haired ladies trying to appeal to 10 year olds. and yes emilia clarke is so beautiful that it distracts you but that has nothing to do with the movie does it.

- June 12, 2026I totally understand people's concerns (maybe even criticism) around the 'nobody asked for this' exploration into Han's past, but who can you complain when the movie is this much fun. Personally id have loved to see further adventures of Han and Chewie on the Falcon. It almost feels suited to a Disney+ 'hiest of the week' style show. Sadly not to be, but we can still enjoy what we have.
