Years after a molestation as student beauty queen, nurse Rebecca Dubrovich remains a frigid workaholic. Her only hobby, sports, brings the health-freak in contact with Texan gym chain CEO Dick Strang, who soon becomes her lover. Against parental advice, she marries him; only afterward does she discover that his domineering side amounts to systemic abuse, yet is cleverly covered by various tricks and powerful friends.
