Sleepaway Camp Ratings & Reviews
- Ariel BuckmeierDecember 13, 2025Great slasher with a shocking ending.
- carter2882November 15, 2025Sleepaway Camp might just be the worst movie I have ever seen. The film tries to be a Friday the 13th rip off, but it’s done in a horrible way. All the characters are unlikable, and some of the worst characters put to screen. The dialogue is absolutely horrible. The movie feels like the cheapest slasher film I have ever seen. The kills are fine, but nothing to cool. But the twist at the end is so predictable from the jump, and in my opinion it’s the worst twist I have ever seen and the worst movie I have ever seen!!
- tellumAugust 18, 2025This is not a great movie in any regard, but I saw this when I was very young and it is one of the scariest nightmare fuels I ever had.
- jamessa84May 27, 2025Definitely wasn't expecting that twist at the end.
- renderartistOctober 7, 2025One of the best indie horror films of the 80s in my opinion, this film is more a hybrid of comedy/drama with a mix of horror, it pulls it all together for an unexpected ending. You have to be in the right mindset to enjoy this, but it’s bizarre, absurd, and campy in the best ways. The characters are memorable, the atmosphere and plot twists keep it fun.
- mikedod8August 21, 2025Idk it was pretty boring and the plot twist was just plain weird.
- SierraMarch 14, 2025end scared
