James Bond 007 - Skyfall Rezensionen & Wertungen
- Tanalien2. November 2024Skyfall is a spy story built around a sibling rivalry, where no one is related by blood, only choice of profession. The work environment at MI-6 strangely resembles a stoic family where everyone would die for each other, but never offer a hug. For the action genre and a James Bond film specifically, the stakes for Skyfall’s characters feel unusually personal.

- ርልዪረ29. Januar 2025Skyfall isn't just an amazing Bond film. It's a gem of a spy-thriller filled with masterfully embedded symbolism. After Bond's brash, rather reckless adventures in CR and QoS, Skyfall portrays his slow descent into near-redundancy due to a gun shot wound. Moreover, Bond's loyalty towards M as well as his country is tested after she gives the order. The film is truly the epitome of whatever personifies "resurrection". Because like a phoenix rising from it's ashes, Craig's Bond steps up to the challenge unflinchingly. A compelling performance by Craig for which he even got an Oscar nomination. But the true show stealers? Javier Bardem as Silva and Dame Judi Dench as M. Bardem's portrayal of Skyfall's antagonist has cemented him as one of 007's most iconic villains, the perfect mixture of psychotic, humorous and unpredictable. A deadly combination. M has possibly the most screen time in a Bond film since Tomorrow Never Dies and for a good reason too. Dame Judi Dench delivers a powerful performance, stoic and unyielding in the face of adversity. Personally, the scene where she reads Tennyson's poem whilst the frames cut to Bond running through London gives me goosebumps.. it's enough to inspire anyone. Bottom line, Skyfall is an incredible swansong for Dench to gracefully step down as Bond's superior, a role immortalised by her. 🤵̸/̸̅̅ ̆̅ ̅̅ ̅̅ The ensemble cast of Naomi Harris as Moneypenny, Ben Whishaw as Q and Ralph Fiennes as Mallory is a golden combination as each depict their characters perfectly. Last, but certainly not the least - Adele's "Skyfall". Possibly the most moving, most powerful Bond theme of all time. A true legend, and her strong vocals certainly set the tone for the film, which culminates into a battle of epic proportions in the breathtaking moors of Scotland, Bond's childhood home..
- LivewireAdmin3. Februar 2026I know this is where I start sounding like a contrarian, but I’ve never been able to fully get on the Skyfall wavelength. When I first saw it in theaters, I was swept up by the craft: the visuals, the performances, the sense that this was “important” Bond. But once that initial glow fades, what’s left is a film that looks incredible while telling one of the weakest and most confused stories of the entire franchise. After the hard reset of Casino Royale and the raw continuation of Quantum of Solace, Skyfall feels like a step backward. Instead of pushing forward with the stripped-down, character-driven Bond they had finally nailed, the film slides comfortably back into familiar territory. Quips creep back in. Q and Moneypenny return. Gadgets resurface. There’s even a moment involving exotic animals that feels ripped straight from the Moore playbook. For some viewers, that nostalgia was the point. For me, it undercuts everything that made Craig’s Bond feel distinct. The bigger issue is that the movie doesn’t seem to understand its own characters. M suddenly micromanages field operations in a way that doesn’t align with decades of precedent. Bond is placed alongside other agents in situations that feel oddly bureaucratic for a lone operative. The story itself plays like a collage of other, better films—an exposed agent list straight out of Mission: Impossible, a villain who engineers his own capture à la The Dark Knight, and a final act that turns Bond into Kevin McCallister, booby-trapping his childhood home as if we’ve wandered into Home Alone with guns. That childhood home reveal is especially frustrating, partly because the film’s own marketing promised something far more interesting. The early teaser’s word-association scene made “Skyfall” feel like a buried psychological wound or a classified failure from Bond’s past. The reaction Craig gives—anger, unease, a flicker of fear—sets expectations the movie never fulfills. It’s just… his house. And not in a way that meaningfully connects to Bond’s established emotional makeup. This is a character who barely flinched when Vesper dissected his upbringing on the train to Montenegro. Suddenly, a mention of his home gets him all locked up? It doesn’t add up. Then there’s the aging issue. Casino Royale explicitly reintroduced Bond as a newcomer, and Craig was in his thirties when he took over. Two films later, Skyfall treats him like he’s washed up, slow and past his prime. Dialogue leans heavily on the idea that he’s lost a step, but the timeline makes no sense. Did decades of Bond history secretly occur between Quantum and this? The movie wants the gravitas of an “old Bond” story without earning it. And yet—credit where it’s due. Javier Bardem is phenomenal. Silva is magnetic, unsettling, and commands every scene he’s in. In fact, he commands them a little too well. Once he enters the film, Bond starts to feel like a secondary character in his own movie. Add in Roger Deakins’ stunning cinematography—still among the best the series has ever had—and you’ve got a film that’s impeccably made on a technical level. Unfortunately, none of that can compensate for a story that feels derivative, inconsistent, and oddly disconnected from the Craig-era journey that preceded it. Skyfall is beautiful to look at and impressive in pieces, but taken as a whole, its never worked for me.
- Nicolas Panagi19. Januar 2026Great movie . Daniel always is Amazing.
- Josh T14. Januar 2026One of Daniel Craig’s best bond movies. And the Adele intro. Mwah* Chefs kiss
- Zokkiie13. Januar 2026Skyfall completely changed how I see Daniel Craig as Bond—gritty, emotional, and surprisingly human. Javier Bardem is one of the best villains ever: intense, theatrical, and unforgettable. The story, visuals, and music are all perfect, creating a cinematic experience that feels both epic and personal. Some moments are darker or slower than typical Bond films, but that just adds depth and makes it even more memorable. The whole movie even feels like a homage to the early Bond era and Sean Connery, from returning to Scotland to subtle nods to the classics—which is simply amazing. In my opinion, Skyfall is the best Bond movie to date.
- Terry Phan5. November 2025Anybody came for the theme song? No? Just me? Anyways other than that this might as well just be one of the best James Bond movies definitely ontop. The action and storytelling is thrilling.
- darsan20. Oktober 2025the most visually stunning daniel craig's 007 film and the score and action is absolutely phenomenal and javier bardem is a great villain in this.
- Jakeys3. Januar 2026Unpopular opinion, I didn't rate this one. Silva's plot was contrived and dumb, the ending is just a completely unconvincing Home Alone copy, Bond is washed up yet will go on to be in prime shape for two more movies... at least it looked good. Also, I'm sorry, but Q is absolutely incompetent for plugging that laptop in. That was laughable. The man needs to go do some remedial 101 cyber security training, what a moron. The fact the plot hinged on his absolute incompetence to even work at all is a joke, so many implausible things had to go right for Silva's ultimate plan of just walking in and shooting near M, something he seemingly could have just done without all the planning... wow. Yeah, I dunno how anyone is saying this is a top tier Bond movie. I'd honestly give the story only one star, but the movie has some stunning visuals and still has some great scenes in it so it's not all bad. Just, yeah, one of the worst plots of Craig's era.
- Wil Roese21. Dezember 2025I would probably like it better if I was in junior high.
- Lasse Viinikainen30. November 2025First proper Bond in a decade. Does not disappoint.
- Nathan Magreta31. Oktober 2025My god, this was good. This film really does feel like the sky is falling down, with amazing plot, action, and one Javier Bardem comparable to the joker.
- Martin Robertson10. Oktober 2025By far, the best Bond of the last 40 years. As with all such fast-paced movies, some peripheral characters are lost in the mix.
- Mr. D13. September 2025It's the worst Daniel Craig Bond.
