- Dylan JaggersMay 6, 2025Wonderful performance from Elizabeth Banks and a solid cast overall. Solid writing, decent direction - fun surprise! Only real complaint is that it’s not super original! Starts very similar to the “Bête Noire” episode of Black Mirror and boy am I glad it didn’t go down the same path. Psychological manipulation is made so powerful by technology.

The movie is loosely based on the real events of Dawn DaLuise who plotted the murder of a competitor rival beauty shop. Elizabeth Banks demonstrates some real acting chops in this somewhat comedic drama. There are some violent fight scenes so be prepared. Excellent dialogue among the various characters so a good watch for any adult audience. 🙂
