Singin' in the Rain Ratings & Reviews
- Rowan KrzysiakFebruary 12, 2025Not what I expected. Although still entertaining, I personally could have done without some of the song and dance numbers as they're somewhat in contrast to the sharp, engaging, fresh-feeling story weaved within. It's vibrant, colourful, confident and at times laugh out loud funny. It was Hollywood being delightfully introspective.
- mickerdooJuly 21, 2025Exhausting and impressive dances. Wish there was a little more story related singing, though. Kelly, O'Conner and Reynolds are treasures.
- daveg63July 7, 2025I had to rewatch this for the 15th time after seeing Babylon. I had to watch them both to make all the connections. ( I saw this movie as a kid with my mom and dad. I knew then it would be a classic)
- Kevin WardJuly 4, 2025Growing up, this was one of three movies that was on repeat at our house. Star Wars, The Wizard of Oz and Singin’ in the Rain. It had been at least a decade (probably more like 2) since I had last seen Singin’ in the Rain, but watching Babylon the other day sent me back to my childhood and necessitated a rewatch. Still pretty much remember ever single beat of this film. Cosmo Brown steals everything though. I wanted desperately to be able to do his wall flips. Masterpiece of a film with incredible cinematography, brilliants song and dance numbers and extremely funny. You could maybe skip Broadway Melody like I always did as a kid. At least now, I can skip forward instead of ruining the VHS tape with the FFW. A must watch and I highly, highly, highly recommend you watch this if you’re planning to watch Babylon at some point.
- Mister ArnMay 14, 2025The strength of this film is the choreography of the dance scenes, and they were the best I've ever seen. Unfortunately, the plot is skinny and is used as a filler between musical numbers.
- DcrBaneJanuary 9, 2025Great movie! Great music! Great for the whole family. Very wholesome movie.
