This is Prince at the peak of his powers in the late 80's. Some great live performances in this film. But, the weird stage acting and Broadway-like production looks really dated now, and just gets in the way of the live music. Being from Minneapolis, I'm a Prince fan. And this is a good document of what an amazing performer he was at that time.
