- JakeysDecember 30, 2025Expectations were sky high for this, and it was really good... but Villeneuve has other, better movies in his repertoire. Don't get me wrong, everyone is great in it, I love the subversion of Emily Blunt's role and the fact you can debate who was right in what they were doing, parts are captivating, it was really good just... I expected "this is amazing, best Villeneuve movie ever" and I came away going "Prisoners was easily better than that."
