Sextuplets Ratings & Reviews
- Ned PeyrouxApril 21, 2026One of those feel-good family movies, like the Pitch Perfect franchise maybe without all the college jokes and so many entertainment jokes but with bigger and more obtuse clown costumes , (Don’t come to the boom-boom room without singles!) that you can watch over and over and over and over with parents, grandparents, leave it playing in the background on repeat and stop what you’re working on to break for a moment, watch while you eat, while you’re doing chores. Don’t expect grandiose dramatized acapella stage performances, but if you like movies like Pitch Perfect, loaded with physical stunts and that lampoons anti-sex bigots while defending wholesome family conflict management and resolution, it’s the Wayans family brand, and they were doing it before the Barden Bellas (too ugly to be cheerleaders) were born. Marlon delivers command performance after command performance, carrying almost the whole picture, with strong but rare support from a veteran cast. Suspension of disbelief is no chore in this movie, but much more than a chortle! In fact, THUMBS UP THIS REVIEW IF YOU CACKLE AND/OR GUFFAW WHEN YOU WATCH.
