Seven Ratings & Reviews
- carter2882March 16, 2026Se7en is an amazing but haunting film. The film has such a cool concept by killing people with the seven deadly sins. The kills themselves are very haunting and terrifying to look at. The characters are very well written and the performances are amazing. The dialogue is incredible. The film contains are very dark and insane twist ending that I love. Overall an absolute masterpiece.
- darsanJune 25, 2025i had to re-watch this cause im watching f1 the movie tonight. firstly, brad pitt was amazing in this and kevin spacey's performance in the usual suspects and this one was phenomenal. secondly, this film is even better the second time. thirdly, david fincher knows how to make great crime films.
- PaulNovember 7, 2025Se7en is pure urban nightmare. David Fincher serves up a city so overpopulated and soulless it’s barely fit for human habitation. Riddled with crime, rain-soaked and anonymous, the city is as much a villain as the killer. Brad Pitt’s Mills and Morgan Freeman’s Somerset clash with the environment and each other, one young, bristling with hope, the other ground down by years of loneliness and horror. What bites hardest about Se7en isn’t just the gruesome crimes or infamous ending, but the film’s unspoken truth: the film’s tension and nihilism leave you thinking, maybe city living is the real sin. Grim, smart, and never less than riveting, Se7en stands out as a modern-day horror story and a warning shot at the dark side of civilisation.
