And their obsession with likes and followers and thier validation to determine if they are leading a worthwhile life.
- Kevin WardJuly 3, 2025Still fun. Did not remember half the cast and cameos that were in this, so that’s always a nice surprise. Alison Brie, Kristen Bell, Anna Paquin, Anthony Anderson. You definitely feel the premise being stretched to the limit in this one. The fact that everyone in this world is 1000% committed to the fact that these real life murders have to somehow adhere to the rules of a horror franchise. Didn’t care much for the killer or their motive this time around. Still has some pretty brutal knife kills.

The great cast and improved cinematography help support a fresh(er) take on the story for the fourth installment, and it shows. The best part about SCRE4M is the total depravity it dives into, and that's exactly what I want to see from a horror movie.

Overall: Scream 4 is a solid return to Woodsboro, mixing nostalgia with modern horror elements. It successfully updates the series for a new generation while keeping the classic suspense and self-aware humor. Though not quite as groundbreaking as the original, it’s an entertaining slasher for both old and new fans.
