- phoenix3dfx225April 22, 2026Been watching each film in the series in quick succession, and can say there is a clear decline from one to the next. Maybe it's because the first movies I remember clearly through growing up with the pop culture and movie references. This one I got less of that, maybe in real life I'd grown up by this point and wasn't paying as much attention so doesn't resonate with me as much. What worries me is I've read ahead for the reviews of the next movie (V) and it looks like the decline is set to continue!
- GoosebumperMarch 18, 2026It has some hilarious highlights like the recurring gag of the daughter suffering various violent incidents. Leslie Neilson as a bumbling president is great casting. The plot is a nonsensical mess that attempts to stitch the plot of existing films together. How they manage to tie Grudge to everything is so dumb. The few attempts at emotional heart don’t land.

Anna Faris is still the highlight, carrying the ridiculous plot with her usual clueless charm, but the jokes lean too hard on pop culture parodies that were already dated when it.came out. Fun in a “background noise” way, but it’s more chuckles than belly laughs.
