One day they missed each other and Georg gets help from the parlor maid Konstanze to pay his bill in a cafe. Of course Georg falls for Konstanze. When he learns that she as well as the rest of the family is pretending being part of the domestic staff he cooperates to support Konstanze's father - owner and count of the castle - to collect some comic situations which he needs for his next theatrical comedy.
