Sacramento Ratings & Reviews
- Kit LazerApril 10, 2025I was having a mild panic attack through much of this movie (unrelated) which was so goddamn funny once I realized what it was about. I burst into tears of catharsis. But also, exhausted tears. If you liked Sideways and A Real Pain, (and like, maybe Swingers), you’ll like this. Just know it’s not as good as any of those. My haters will say I just love everything Kristen Stewart is in. And they’re not wrong.
- Matthias_812April 2, 2025Wholesome impromptu journey that forces to confront the past and uncertain futures literally and metaphorically. Sacramento presents the complexities of friendship, impending fatherhood, and personal growth. It's been a great minute since I saw Cera in a film like this and with Sacramento he's like the grown up kid from Superbad and Youth in Revolt. It's not stretching the buddy road trip set up but the familiar territory makes this such a heartfelt and wholesome experience. Beneath the laughs, there’s a real examination of friendship, regret, and the struggle to change. Makes you feel a little high on life.
