Pozzuoli and its surroundings are places with an ancient and distant history. The Gioia family, which lives on fishing, is forced to leave the house several times because of the risk of a sudden landslide. Repeated moves lead to the progressive disintegration of the family unit. The difficult relationships sentimental of the children, the opposition to the public force that orders the eviction, the death of the father are so many stages that mark painful generational and existential passages.
