    Watching this after Andor series makes so much sense, and it bears a heavier meaning to the Rebel Alliance than in my first watch. I highly recommend if you haven't watched this, go for Andor series first then watch this one.

    This is movie is so good! The way it fills in the plot holes from a movie that came out 30 years ago is crazy. Every time I watch this movie the end still makes me cry 🥲

    Outstandingly cast, acted, written and produced. This is honestly some of the best Star Wars you’re going to see this side of Empire Strikes Back or Andor. Just phenomenal.

    I would have originally rated this as a 3.5 or 4 star movie, it's good. But after watching the 'Andor' series setup to this movie and rewatching it again, I'm bumping it up to a 4.5. It's really really good. It brings the Star Wars saga full circle, and gives the fight against the Empire even more weight. If you haven't seen it, I would suggest to watch the first two seasons of 'Andor' first, before watching this one. Then start it all over with 'A New Hope' to see how seamlessly it all fits. Excellence in Sci-Fi.

    Watching ANDOR just prior to Rogue One stitches everything together. From the early beginning of a Luthen driven rebellion ( absolutely brutal) to the escape of Leia from Darth Vader and his boarding crew. Cassian is a bit of a hard nut to like but his story is critical to the whole epic series. Great watch, brilliant series capped off with a very good movie

    Andor season 3 might have a tough time following up after this but still a well done Star Wars story. This movie gives me a new hope that good Star Wars stories can still be told.

    Forget the new Star Wars Trilogy (as its a load of SH**) this movie, however, is a class act.. god knows who approved this film.. but they need a pay rise STAT !

    I thought this was a great movie when it came out... an important piece of the star wars puzzle. Now I love this movie even more after watching Andor, which provided far more context and build up. I think this movie gets hate because it moved so quickly and didnt have long to build character development. Still, I thought the characters are likeable, relatable, and well acted. The visuals are also amazing, and it was the first star wars movie (and Solo) that dug deeper into the grass roots every day life of the universe, which was a really awesome perspective. Brings you in closer, feels more realistic and relatable.
