Rob1n Ratings & Reviews
--------------------------------- Rob1n is one of those movies that don't go easy with scares every two minutes. Here everything is slower, darker, and what really catches you is the tension and that robot that makes you uncomfortable just looking at it. At times it may seem slow, but that makes you get more into the weird and disturbing thing it poses. It's not the typical "jump on the couch", it's more like thinking after seeing it.

- ƇMay 2, 2025Reel Review: Rob1n Rob1n (2025), directed by Lawrence Fowler, is a British horror-thriller that explores the terrifying consequences of grief and artificial intelligence. The film is about a widowed robotics scientist who, in desperation, after his 11-year-old son dies, creates Rob1n, a lifelike robotic doll. Rob1n's behavior becomes increasingly disturbing as the story unfolds, especially when the scientist's estranged nephew and his fiancée come to visit, unleashing horrific events. Although the film has a chilling premise and atmospheric tension, it starts many narrative paths but cannot tie them together. Thus, the story is confusing and attempts to capitalize on the success of similar films that fall in this genre. i.e., Megan, Companion. Despite that, Rob1n is a chilling examination of loss and the dangers of unchecked technological advancement. Overall, I gave this a 3.9 out of 10.
- Divine SinzSeptember 5, 2025A terrible waste of time. The only kind thing I can think to say is that some of the kills were decently brutal. Do not recommend.
- VicAugust 29, 2025Chuky ripoff with all the tropes that characterize a bad movie that completely fails at horror. It's mostly an horror movie because of how horrible it is.
- Baby ARESMay 25, 2025Very poorly writen. And the acting was even worse. Could'nt get past the 20 min. mark
