- jackmeatJuly 19, 2025My quick rating - 4.6/10. Very much felt like a made-for-TV flick. The sets were limited, almost as though they were making a movie out of what was a play. There have been countless tales about Jack the Ripper, and at least this one came up with a bit of a twist on the story, but unfortunately, getting to it was extremely tedious. The pacing of such a short movie (85 minutes) seemed to take far longer since the vast amount of time is spent with nothing happening. If the dialogue was better, it may have helped, but everything was delivered so plainly as if reading it right from the script. I cannot say this was a horrible hour and a half, but certainly not anything I would watch again.
