This movie is pure B-movie madness, cheesy, chaotic and completely self-aware. It doesn’t try to be high art, and that’s exactly why it works. George Clooney, before he became George Clooney, delivers lines with a wink that says, “Yeah, I know this is ridiculous.” The VHS fuzz added a layer of camp that made the tomato gore even more ridiculous. It was the kind of movie you’d rent on a whim, then rewatch with friends just to see their reactions. This isn’t just a film, it’s a time capsule of late-night rentals, pizza boxes, and rewinding tapes to catch that one scene again. If you’ve ever loved a movie because it’s bad, this one’s for you.
