Hugh plays a mighty role worth every cent, great supporting cast with a different story that will have you on the edge seat plus entertainment, Robots fight in the ring that makes you wonder about down the track in the future. Action and suspense with the thrills and spills that go with it, what more could you want. The curves fly and things do go wrong, plus some things fall apart now. Not just a mans movie its every ones to watch and enjoy, so get with it, move on for a thrilling night of sheer delight with a mixture of feelings that have you reeling in your seat riveted to the chair. So set yourself up with the popcorn, relax and put your feet up settle for an fabulous night in with a delightful movie, a must to all to see. I rated this an A grade plus so enjoy!

This is a fun movie. Nothing more, nothing less. The special effects are so well done, and the near future feel is spot on.

Embarrassingly cliché, predictable and frustratingly shallow. Be prepared to spend so much of the movie hating Hugh Jackman's dumb-as-bricks character that by the time there's any payoff you just want the movie to be over. There’s only so many times you can facepalm over a character’s obviously-idiotic actions before you’re reaching for the stop button. Side note: why the hell do the robots react like humans when hit in the stomach area or head? Makes absolutely no sense. The ones at the start are specifically noted as being fully controlled by the guy with the remote, no way he’s making it clutch its stomach and fold over.

Real Steel is my favorite movie of all time. Objectively speaking it's not particularly special, but Real Steel makes me cry every single time and that is worth a lot. For the uninitiated, Real Steel is basically just Rocky (1976) with robots. There isn't really much more to it. As Nobody (2021) proved, rehashing the same idea can be fine as long as you nail the execution, and Real Steel does just that. There is a very valuable lesson in this film, you don't have to be the biggest, the fastest the strongest or the smartest. You've just got to keep f*****g going.

Not sure how this movie made it to production but glad it did. Really on the nose and boxing templated. CGI extravaganza. Lilly looks great.

There's not tons of meat to it, but it's a fun movie that doesn't require much thinking. I question how Hugh Jackman's character could actually have ever made it into adulthood, but at least he has a bit of a redemption arc. The special effects are impressive and still hold up very well. Worth a watch if you're a sci-fi fan.

This is all too real, but I’m all too for it.

If Rocky laced up with Over the Top and then called Dirk Diggler for a little inspiration, you’d get Real Steel. This is a movie about comebacks — big, loud, unapologetic comebacks. Atom isn’t just a robot; he’s the Dirk Diggler of the robot boxing world, stepping back into the ring to prove he’s still got the goods. It’s gritty, it’s over-the-top (literally), and it leaves you cheering like you just watched Rocky go the distance — or Dirk roll out his final redemption scene.

Best boxing robot movie ever love it

Surprisingly fun sports movie--think Rocky with robots. The overly spunky and wise-talking kid is a mixed blessing, but the robots deliver.
