My quick rating - 3.0/10. Nice surprise popping up at the start when it takes place on July 4th, and I happen to be watching on said holiday. But I didn't stumble upon a classic for the festive rotation. It may have been a decent idea for the comedy aspect of it. It also looks like these imbeciles had fun making the movie. But that is about the extent of anything good to say. There is no acting to speak of; they are all horrible. I will give credit for introducing a character that I wanted dead so fast, though (in the movie that is, I am not that evil). Although it will be hard to place him since each one is vying for the right of needs to be off'd soon. So, in case you haven't heard, going to a cabin in the woods is generally bad for your health. This troupe hasn't learned that lesson and somehow is able to bring the dead presidents back to life. I think that about sums this movie up in what you need to know. Presidential zombies who are after some Americana beer, that is. Has to be a massive inside joke amongst the brilliant people behind this one. As you meander through the 82 minutes, you will find a laugh here and there, but they are way too few and far between. The gore effects are laughable, probably on purpose, and this isn't a b-budget, so bad it is good. Just leans way too far into the bad realm.
