Raktapop
Directed by Dan O'TooleVanaam Raktapop is a social outcast. At 18 years of age he doesn't have friends, is a geek and one of his major flaws is to take the world at face value whilst looking at it through naive eyes. One fateful morning he unwittingly becomes the victim of entrapment by a vicious gang of youths. Duped into chasing a handbag thief, Vanaam is brutally attacked with a mallet, which splits his left temple. Blood spews across the concrete he is lying on before he is injected with an experimental serum developed by a morally repugnant corporation. Upon waking on the floor of a murky laboratory Vanaam Raktapop meets the company director (Mystery Scientist) and is given an explanation. He is simply the result of an experiment to turn him into a biological weapon in the form of a super-human soldier. He is given an ultimatum, to join their crusade or be exterminated. Raktapop decides to join the crusade but not before taking revenge on the gang that caused his life to be altered forever.
