It leans into awkwardness, pressure, and survival behavior, which makes everything feel more authentic but also slightly uncomfortable to evaluate. That’s part of the design: it resists refinement. What makes the film work overall is its consistency of tone. Even when it feels chaotic or rough, it never breaks its emotional logic.
