The acting is intentionally hard to “judge” in a traditional sense because it doesn’t aim for theatrical performance or clean character arcs. It leans into awkwardness, pressure, and survival behavior, which makes everything feel more authentic but also slightly uncomfortable to evaluate. That’s part of the design: it resists refinement. What makes the film work overall is its consistency of tone. Even when it feels chaotic or rough, it never breaks its emotional logic.
