- Danny B5d agoPulse has a few solid moments, but the film mostly plays like a made-for-TV production with a shoestring budget. The cast is packed with familiar faces from mid-2000s television like Kristen Bell and Ian Somerhalder, and unfortunately, it shows. Performances are flat, the cinematography is dull, and the lighting feels random and distracting. A wasted premise with little payoff.
