"Present of the Past" is about Wolfgang, who is supported by his wife Sandra to search for his unknown father. While acting in a Hollywood film he manages to get his father Walter, a well known German actor cast as his father, unbeknownst to Walter. Thirty years ago when Walter wanted a career and Wolfgang's mother Kate wanted a child, Walter left the country, after their affair, not knowing she was caring his child. They never reconnected.
