Predestination Ratings & Reviews
- spieg49March 22, 2026Thats a nice twist 🙂
- Vladimir DjedovicMarch 11, 2026One of my all-time favorites. The only thing I will say about this movie is that you don't watch trailers. If I did, I would probably skip the whole movie because this plotline isn't possible to be explained in a synopsis without spoilers. Also, avoid spoilers at all cost and if you like mind-bent stories - just sit back and enjoy
- Dave BarnesFebruary 22, 2026Well acted and original story, though the various time jumps do confuse things. Well worth a watch.
- Joe OsAugust 13, 2025This is beyond awesome.
- Mike ReardonJanuary 3, 2026Easily in my top ten favorite movies of all time
- lava_b582December 24, 2025This is one of the best paradoxal time travel movies ever released. Great role playing and masterfully executed. 10/10
- sveiFebruary 21, 2026Its less great on rewatch, but amazing the first round. Still great sci-fi.
- Kevin WardJanuary 21, 2026For some reason I started this film ages ago and didn’t finish. (Not because it was bad, just because I got sidetracked). I’m talking like a looong time ago. Like before I knew who Sarah Snook was That was a mistake. This was great. Love a good time travel flick and both Hawke and Snook are very good. I will say that I pretty much predicted exactly how it would play out, mostly because it telegraphs most of its punches. The “I am My Own Grandpa” needle drops are a little on the nose. But still it’s pretty satisfying to see it all play out.
- OmmarJanuary 18, 2026This one will fk with your existence 🤯⏳⌚🗓️♾️
- Charles WitthausJanuary 1, 2026One of the most profound time travel movies ever adapted from a short story, based on Robert A. Heinlein's science fiction story "All You Zombies" written in 1958. As far as time travel paradoxes goes this is by far the most thought provoking and emotional tales that touches on themes like what if time travel was possible and can you change your own destiny by going back in time.
- Syed Fahad Ali AsifMarch 9, 2025Confusing and mind boggling.
- Corbin BishopDecember 14, 2025Crazy stuff, man! I feel like an idiot that I should have pieced it together. But I didn't fully so that ending hit me pretty good. So I'm kind of glad :) I love sci-fi stuff like this and it just popped up one day and I thought I'd check it out! I love Ethan Hawke. And Sarah Snook freaked me out!
- Mister ArnDecember 2, 2025“Predestination” is a time-travel film anchored by Ethan Hawke but carried by Sarah Snook. Her performance sells the entire twist; without her mix of vulnerability, toughness, and confusion, the movie simply wouldn’t work. The film smartly explores identity, loneliness, and self-acceptance before leaning into the time-loop mechanics. It’s a tight, clever piece of sci-fi that holds up better than most entries in the genre.
- tellumJune 26, 2025This movie borders on openly mocking the time travel genre with how deliberately convoluted it is, but the pay off at the end makes it all worth it.
- Yuvi RandhawaMay 20, 2025the world doesn’t make sense anymore
