Directed by Petar PopzlatevIn the region of Rhodope, on the Greek border with Bulgaria, the village of Kesten is deserted, there are only about twenty inhabitants. Vladimir, the mayor, is at the same time director of the school and the post office. His relationship with Maria, his wife, takes place under different hats. As mayor, he is the suspicious husband. As the principal of the school, he is the jealous lover who mistreats and watches over her. As head of the post office, he woos her in a timid and awkward way. Worried to see him so enlightened, Maria consults an old woman from the village who prepares a herbal potion for her that could cure her husband.
