The violence was unexpectedly over the top for what was billed as a heist film, but I suppose that's a sign of the times lol
- LivewireAdmin6 grudnia 2025Shane Black is so back! This was fun. I got vibes of The Italian Job, The Nice Guys and a few other capers that I can't think of off the top of my head. Mark Wahlberg and LaKeith Stanfield had good chemistry and the rest of the supporting cast was great too, specifically Rosa Salazar (Fox/Disney please greenlight a sequel to Alita!) There were times where the dialogue felt a little clunky and the occasional CGI action set piece would take me out but overall Play Dirty was an enjoyable two hours. I would definitely watch a sequel if they make one.
