- Patrick D.6d agoBeautiful film. This is spectacularly immersive. Down to the calluses on DDL's thumb, there isn't a detail out of place in this. Daniel Day-Lewis is as magnetic as ever. The story is tragic and a little bland if I'm being honest. It's not bad, and being charitable this is probably a 4 star film. I think you have to be in the mood for this type of movie to get the most out of it.
- hairydemonOctober 11, 2025God, that was so boring, it made drying paint look like a Micheal Bay film. I never stayed to find out if the pait dried though. Too much to do in life.
- SpanktacularAugust 7, 2025Tremendous acting and poetic writing, but a little too slow-burn period-piece for me. Not a critique, just a preference.
