Permanent Midnight Ratings & Reviews
- David C.November 28, 2025I think this was definitely a good movie, although it was quite gut-wrenching and sad. It was definitely worth seeing as long as you have the constitution to watch the heartbreak of how heroin addiction drags people down to a level that most people couldn't possibly fathom. Ben Stiller shows the depth of his acting abilities in this film. Regardless of the tone of the movie, which was an emotional roller coaster but you wouldn't expected it to be anything else because of its subject matter, the action was excellent, the story was probably the sad story of many people who became addicted to heroin, however it shows there's always help and hope for drug addicts, some do recover but many don't and lead lives full of despair and tragedy. Either way, I found the films to be well acted, very realistic and quite authentic. View it & you decide if it's a film worth seeing?! 👍
