One Cut of the Dead Ratings & Reviews
- DarlingInThePlexxJune 5, 2025I want to tell you why this movie is amazing. I really do. But if I say too much, I’ll ruin everything—and you deserve the ride. 🧟♂️🎬🧡 So here’s what I’ll say: Just watch it. Then keep watching it. Think it’s over? It’s not. Think you know what’s going on? You don’t. Think you’re watching a bad zombie movie? LOL. Just wait. 😏 This film is a love letter to filmmaking, creativity under pressure, and the pure chaos of trying to pull off something impossible with heart, sweat, and duct tape. The behind-the-scenes reveals? Genius. The pacing? Bold. The final act? Chef’s kiss of emotional payoff and absolute cinematic joy. 👏😭 I don’t just love this movie—I envy everyone who got to make it. My greatest regret in life might just be not living in Japan at the time and somehow ending up on this set. It looks like it was hard, hilarious, and totally unforgettable. It’s not just a movie. It’s a celebration of why we even bother to make movies in the first place.
- Megan CruzMay 16, 2025It’s best to go into this movie knowing absolutely nothing. One of the cleverest and most sincere tributes to everything that makes this genre special.
- ThresholdauApril 3, 2025Trust me, I can’t tell you why it’s great. But it is. Deeply. POM!
- Ted CartJanuary 11, 2025You will ABSOLUTELY cheer at the end, so stick with it! The less you know the better.
- justi7607October 18, 2024Definately one of best modern zombie films/movies made in more recent years along with Train to Busan and World War Z with a more comical approach and micro budget.
