On Her Majesty's Secret Service Ratings & Reviews
- LordPanicsOctober 23, 2025The best James Bond ever!
- ርልዪረJanuary 28, 2025🗑️Poorly acted and directed🗑️
- ZokkiieOctober 16, 2025Lazenby’s one-shot as Bond is way better than it gets credit for. The action’s sharp, the Alps look amazing, and that ending still stings. He’s no Connery, but there’s real heart here — a cool, gutsy Bond film that stands on its own.
- cyberbillpApril 12, 2025I hadn't seen this in ages, and it's really quite good. It sets the stage for Bonds rage in the next film which isn't nearly as good. They should have kept Lazenby longer. He was pretty awesome at being 007.
- Joe ShrimptonMay 29, 2025Lazenby is a highly underrated Bond, with a more grounded story than most that come before or after it. Paired with Diana Riggs excellent performance which was ahead of its time, leaves me wondering what could have been if Lazenby had been Bond for longer.
- seamusw92October 1, 2025One of my favourite films, Blofeld and Tracy are excellent characters and unfortunately outshine George, either he was not up to the job on an emotional level as an actor or he was a victim of poor directing. The directing and cinematography is a bit short in places, and some dialogue feels bizarre and poorly written. That said, I love the narrative, love the attempt to show a different side to the man and to borrow a phrase - "your kids are going to love it" , would recommend this film as it lays the foundation for the modern 90s and 2000s Bond that we got (in places)
- Dellvon C. FordDecember 28, 2024I am a huge James Bond fan...HUGE!!.....This film doesn't contribute too much to my admiration of the character or the series .....As usual the women were above average for their time period....but everything else was kinda blah....The acting was almost okay.....the storyline was almost anti-Bond-ish.....Telly Savalese as the villian was a huge stretch for me.....He just didn't bring it....I usually skip this one when Im on my J.B. kick....being honest....The guy playing Bond was not it...PERIOD !!!!...At any rate, watch and enjoy if you can...
- Alexandre GrégoireJune 16, 2025On Her Majesty’s Secret Service is easily one of the weakest entries in the Bond franchise. It drags at a painfully slow pace, with a lead—George Lazenby—who lacks both charisma and screen presence. His Bond is neither charming nor compelling, and the script doesn’t help, with punchlines that fall flat and a romantic subplot that feels completely unearned. I always loved the ease with which Bond seduces women but here it's just not credible. To top on that he does it while planning his marriage, sure James is a pick up artist and heartless but do you see him as such a prick? Even the villain’s scheme, which could have added intrigue, is barely explored. The infamous ski chases are laughably unconvincing, and the action lacks any real tension. Simply put, this movie hasn’t aged well—and truth be told, it wasn’t good even when it first came out.
