He sets out to avenge his brother's death but runs into difficulty when Estelita Del Rey misleads him to protect her lawless lover, Johnny Morrell. Bill also suspects Luis Savarin, gambling house proprietor, and Marie Marlowe, an entertainer at Savarin's place.
