As a schoolboy, Porky falls asleep after suddenly refusing to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. Uncle Sam comes to him in his dreams and explains to him what the Pledge of Allegiance realistically means, and how it honors those who gave their lives for the nation. Porky Pig then sees the error of his ways and recites the pledge as the Flag of the United States waves overhead.
