Oh, Hi! Ratings & Reviews
- Megan Cruz4d agoThis is one of the only modern rom coms I’ve seen that actually feels modern! Saw it at Sundance and was so excited for it to come out. I will happily accept another entry into the crazy girl film canon. Hilarious and fun.
- Kit LazerJuly 24, 2025Well, I thought this was pretty funny, empathetic, and bolstered by a by-the-book-clever script.
- RickJuly 7, 2025Fun dark romantic comedy. He’s not committed and she’s a little crazy. Hijinks ensue. Keeps you on your toes, and never quite goes the direction you expect it to. I hope they are able to make things work. They seem so good together.
- Kevin WardJune 30, 2025The way Oh, Hi starts off almost identically to Companion—our lead is even named Iris—I was fully expecting a dark left turn. That kind of turn is not really what we get here. What we get instead is a bit more farcical. Iris (Molly Gordon) and Isaac (Logan Lerman) embark on their first romantic trip together—a classic relationship mile marker. The film mine’s the scenario to explore the perhaps assymetrical expectations in the modern dating landscape. How certain signposts, mile-markers in a relationship may have differing significance—Sometimes commitment and joy, or perhaps obsession and Misery. I had a really fun time with this one. The turns it takes were unexpected, and I was very much endeared by Molly Gordon. The film isn’t afraid to get a little kinky, which adds to its offbeat charm. Geraldine Viswanathan and John Reynolds make great additions when they show up, bringing a fresh dynamic and fun chemistry that rounds things out nicely. Follow me on LB kevflixandchill
