- nateweissMarch 1, 2026been thinking a lot today
- CarbonDJ4d agoI'm sure some people absolutely love it, and it was refreshing to watch something completely different, but I didn't love it.

- Matthew RotherhamMay 1, 2026Hey, do you remember that racist Bill Cosby impression I used to do in the car?
- joel.p.8April 21, 2026Really good movie, I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. It has an original format whilst paying tribute to some classic movies. Highly recommend the watch
- CosmicRamApril 14, 2026Saw this at a cinema screening and thanking my lucky stars
- Tyler SApril 13, 2026👍👍 9/10
- Kevin WardMarch 19, 2026Knew nothing going in and now I can feel a deep dive into Nirvanna the Band the Show coming on. Incredibly funny and inventive. Really regret passing this up at SXSW last year. This would have made for an incredible festival watch. One of those movies that makes you just want to grab a camera and make movies. Highly recommend. No context needed. Just give it a blind watch.
- James SaenzApril 12, 2026“if you have a best friend, you won’t even notice getting older.” the only thing i’ve ever seen from nirvana the band was the “update day” wii shop wednesday skit and that was all i needed to be on board with this film when i first saw the trailer. this was so fucking funny and clever. matt looking around incredulously as a full theater audience howls at a homophobic joke from the hangover was such a clever way to recontextualize the joke from a modern perspective and also to be the thing that causes him to realize they actually did go back in time. i need 200 hours of behind the scenes and deleted footage expeditiously.
- DonkeyFlixApril 8, 2026The only Back to the Future remake I will ever watch
- cultfilmlikerMarch 11, 2026My expectations were a little high but damn that ending hit so hard. I fucking love friendship. Watched at Boulevard Theaters in Old Town Currently Ranked #3/23 in 2026 Rankes
- BalxanaxApril 6, 2026Nothing like a good feeling...
- vangh1February 25, 2026Going into this movie knowing nothing about Matt or Jay, knowing nothing about nirvanna the band the show and just hopping in because we heard it was Canadian, I'm blown away by just how much we loved this thing on every level, and I can only imagine how much more of a satisfying cinematic experience it would be if you'd already had love for these characters and the series. Having the 2008 callbacks be almost exclusively people and moments that felt innocuous at the time but are troublesome from a 2025 lens is absolute brilliance. The way the movie isn't afraid to lay the groundwork for these huge insane set pieces while also not being afraid to spend time in small human moments for extended periods just makes the entire thing feel so vivid and full. Jay McCarrol having multiple scenes where his acting is just incredible in these small, quiet moments. And there's all these positive things you can say about the cinematography, the editing, the palpable tension, the CN Tower high stakes, the genuine wholesomeness that can't help but come through, but honestly, the best part of the whole thing is that it's just STRAIGHT. UP. FUNNY.
- h3ad73April 4, 2026This movie was great, from start to finish. If your a back to the future fan, you will like this.
- Jack BlitzApril 2, 2026Guerrilla filmmaking excellence. Irrationally absurd, hilarious, and captivating. A 3rd act that catches lightning in a bottle.
