- Danny B20h agoNight of the Living Dead (1990) is a remake that still holds up as a solid horror classic. Tony Todd is great as always, and the film captures a grim, heavy atmosphere that lingers. The scares are tamer than what we’re used to today, but the tension works. The ending still hits hard with its bleak, tragic tone, as the real horror shifts from the undead to the living. It’s a grim reminder that humanity often fails its own.
