Night of the Demons Ratings & Reviews
- johns913June 1, 2025It's an ok cheesy 80's horror movie.
- Carlos IbarraApril 10, 2025One of my favorites, period. Sure, it's pretty cheesy, but it's a blast. I can't think of much better Halloween viewing. I always want Angela to invite me to the party...
- Matthias_812April 4, 2025A pinnacle of 80's horror, Night of the Demons delivers all the goods from the decade. Night of the Demons isn't your average cult B-movie, the production quality is actually quite slick compared to its counterparts from the same era. There's plenty of variety in the cinematography and even some creative framing that is rarely found at the time in the genre. On top of that we get a score that sounds like a mad man with ADHD pounding on the synth which really cooks up the intensity. The opening animation titles were also a nice add. You can really tell that time was meticulously put into this and not just slapped together. The demons could go toe-to-toe with the deadites in the Evil Dead franchise and give them a run for their money. The start is slow but the pay off makes it worth your time and the characters can be a little much, especially Stooge's lines. In these 90 minutes we get the best of the best practical effects, bloody kills, electrifying score, overdramatic acting, and bodacious boobies! All of the ingredients that make 80's horror worth revisiting.
