Never So Few Ratings & Reviews
Mister Arn
October 15, 2024
Frank Sinatra as a walk-on water stud doesn't work, and his outfits, including the hat, are doltish. Steve McQueen brings action film zip, but it too little to save the movie.
Film Frenzy
Matt Brunson
The love story is commonplace and hampered by a noticeable lack of chemistry between Sinatra and Lollobrigida -- the war material is similarly humdrum until a late-inning development.
Out of the Past
Raquel Stecher
an important drama, well-worth your time for the excellent cast. Essential viewing for any Steve McQueen fan. The story does drag on a bit.
Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews
Dennis Schwartz
Overlong and remiss World War II action/romance film that never moves without a cliché for the stellar cast to kick around.
Film Threat
Rory L. Aronsky
The trouble with Never So Few is its inability to keep up any wartime drama...
