Neighborhood Watch Ratings & Reviews
- Tony GMay 1, 2025outstanding!
- fireatNovember 28, 2025A typical Criminal Minds plot that branches out into the a rich relationship between a young kid re integrating into society and a retired security guard turned vigilante
- ZokkiieSeptember 13, 2025Decent performances from Jack Quaid and Jeffrey Dean Morgan keep things watchable, but the story leans too hard on clichés and drags in spots. Some tension works, most doesn’t. Not terrible, not great — just a middle-of-the-road thriller.
- mwf369July 13, 2025It's unfortunate that the director felt thay Simon's inner voices (his father) needed to be shared with us, because damn, it was annoying. Rather absurd ending with far too many loose ends also diminished the movie.
- Hipster ZOMBIEApril 28, 2025A dysfunctional buddy cop film that delivers a few laughs and some heart. Jack Quaid and Jeffrey Dean Morgan have great chemistry as both play two discarded members of society who still believe that despite their disabilities and hang ups they can still do good for their community. It’s a dark comedy that doesn’t try to do too much or over stay it’s welcome.
- ghal290August 26, 2025The more I see of Jack Quaid the more I like him, I enjoyed this movie as an easy watch.
- adey100August 11, 2025Loved it and a very good plot with a great ending
- hayde56April 28, 2025Jack, Jeffery and Malin have are great actors, the movie is a fun watch and well worth the time, did feel the story could have been expanded a little more and had a bit more fun with it but overall it's pretty good.
- Arron BrownJuly 9, 2025Solid movie with a mostly believable plot and very well acted, i only had one problem and that i kept watching was this what Negan used to be doing before the dead started walking lol, i think that purely just me though and maybe a little that JDM but so much of himself in to that character
- eyeofthetornadoMay 24, 2025Neighborhood Watch shows that telling the truth gets you labeled either a lunatic or someone’s retired uncle. Basically, if you’ve got morals, you must be an alien—or just really bad at fitting in.
- Brian BainesJuly 12, 2025Great watch , good performances from cast
- jeffmuch1011July 3, 2025Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jack Quaid make a decent combo for this film, but the story felt boring and tired.
- Splitvision89May 26, 2025Fantastic noir thriller. Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jack Quaid are a great duo. Cinematography and sound were excellent. Might end up being my favorite of 2025
- John ChapelMay 13, 2025Jack Quad has range. In the sea of dogshit movies of the 2020's, it's nice to see something original. This won't win awards or anything, but everyone plays it pretty perfectly. Fun watch; a pretty good modern take on noir detective films.
- cultfilmlikerMay 12, 2025Took me a moment to figure out if Jack Quaid and Malin Akerman were supposed to be together or nah… The answer is “nah” Jeffrey Dean Morgan has such interesting tastes in the roles he takes lmao Some low hanging fruit comedically and couldn’t help but feel like it trivializes mental illness a bit. I get that it’s meant to show how others weaponize it but it makes some of the “actual” portrayals of mental illness feel disingenuous. Some of the writing felt…streamlined? And just very weak. I have seen that exact same hair dye joke scene with the exact same beats and acting somewhere else but I can’t remember exactly where. Anyways…felt hacky. Same “outcasts help each other” theme you’ve seen a million times! Calling the bluff motif was cute lol well I enjoyed it more until they explicitly referenced it for a third time smh Okay there are officially too many recurring themes and ideas lol it’s way too “full circle”
