Neighborhood Watch Ratings & Reviews
- Splitvision894d agoFantastic noir thriller. Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jack Quaid are a great duo. Cinematography and sound were excellent. Might end up being my favorite of 2025
- Tony GibsonMay 1, 2025outstanding!
- hayde56April 28, 2025Jack, Jeffery and Malin have are great actors, the movie is a fun watch and well worth the time, did feel the story could have been expanded a little more and had a bit more fun with it but overall it's pretty good.
- Hipster ZOMBIEApril 28, 2025A dysfunctional buddy cop film that delivers a few laughs and some heart. Jack Quaid and Jeffrey Dean Morgan have great chemistry as both play two discarded members of society who still believe that despite their disabilities and hang ups they can still do good for their community. It’s a dark comedy that doesn’t try to do too much or over stay it’s welcome.
- eyeofthetornado6d agoNeighborhood Watch shows that telling the truth gets you labeled either a lunatic or someone’s retired uncle. Basically, if you’ve got morals, you must be an alien—or just really bad at fitting in.
- djaggMay 12, 2025Took me a moment to figure out if Jack Quaid and Malin Akerman were supposed to be together or nah… The answer is “nah” Jeffrey Dean Morgan has such interesting tastes in the roles he takes lmao Some low hanging fruit comedically and couldn’t help but feel like it trivializes mental illness a bit. I get that it’s meant to show how others weaponize it but it makes some of the “actual” portrayals of mental illness feel disingenuous. Some of the writing felt…streamlined? And just very weak. I have seen that exact same hair dye joke scene with the exact same beats and acting somewhere else but I can’t remember exactly where. Anyways…felt hacky. Same “outcasts help each other” theme you’ve seen a million times! Calling the bluff motif was cute lol well I enjoyed it more until they explicitly referenced it for a third time smh Okay there are officially too many recurring themes and ideas lol it’s way too “full circle”
- DJMay 9, 2025This was a solid but quirky film. Both leads did a solid job playing the characters they were given (over the top, washed up security guard) and someone with psychosis issues. It’s a slow burn thriller and you need to be able to tolerate a character having mental breakdowns as well throughout the film. The plot in essence, a young adult witnesses a kidnapping but no one believes him (he was hospitalized with suicidal tendencies and has some pyschosis stuff going on). So he teams up with an over the top security guard (wannabe cop) who doesn’t even believe him but needs something to do. It spirals and that is all you need to know.
- oleg.ekaburgMay 6, 2025A very boring and primitive movie.
- RexawlMay 4, 2025quite boring
- staffm8April 25, 2025Interesting, not a blockbuster but worth a watch
