Maria conducts a young people's choir that is considered one of the main attractions of the city's Christmas party. On the eve of the event, soloist Emanuel loses his voice. Distressed, Maria and and all the members of the choir do their best to cure him: gargling with cold and warm water, vocal exercises, syrups, prayers, promises, medicine, sympathy, and positive thinking. However, the best remedy might be a good night's sleep. While asleep, Emanuel dreams that he is in Natalândia, a city where every day is Christmas. The enchanted city, however, is sad because its magic has disappeared and there is no music and the Estrela de Belém cannot guide the Magi. To retrieve them, the mayor Natália searches with help from Emanuel, shepherds Azul and Encarnada, and detectives Jingle and Bell.
