And what I really thought they done brilliantly here; is how they slowly peeled back the onion, by showing Jeffrey Dahmer unravelling and slipping very slowly into the monster, he would go onto become. This is a very dark, depressing, very real & eye opening look; into Jeffrey Dahmer's life and backstory when and where he was an emerging serial killer. The cinematography, settings, acting & casting are all bang on as well. A very competently made film all round. 👍👍 My Personal Ratings for My Friend Dahmer is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ & a 10/10

- Charles LondonFebruary 12, 2025An intriguing look into the formative years of a monster in the making, this film gives us a look into Jeffery Dahmer, the awkward teenage loner from a dysfunctional family, mostly as seen through the eyes of a high school friend. Before he became the "Milwaukee Cannibal", Dahmer was an Ohio youth slowly molding into one of the world's most infamous serial killers. The movie does a good job of showing us the early signs, the red flags, and the spastic behavioral oddities that failed to raise concern in anyone except his father who was unfortunately preoccupied with manging his dying marriage to Jeffery's mentally-ill mother (adeptly portrayed by Ann Heche). Fun Fact: much of the movie was filmed at Dahmer's actual boyhood home in Bath, Ohio.
