My Cousin Vinny Ratings & Reviews
- JeremeyJuly 13, 2025Okay. So let me get this straight. I show up in Alabama — wearin’ the wrong suit, talkin’ like a normal human bein’ — and suddenly I’m the idiot? Two yoots are facin’ murder charges, the prosecution’s buildin’ a case on tire marks and tuna sandwiches, and I’m supposed to say “yes, Your Honor” and blend in like I wasn’t born with volume. Listen — I didn’t go to law school to be polite. I went to win. You want legal drama? Go watch somethin’ with violins. You want justice, comedy, and a woman screamin’ about positraction in heels? This is the movie. Case closed.
- Kevin WardJuly 2, 2025his is another one of those films that I actually have probably seen all or most of the film in bits and pieces when it played non stop on basic cable in the 90’s, but one I’ve never watched from start to finish. It’s just a really good movie. Surprisingly good legal drama that might be one of the best at portraying the procedural aspects of a jury trial. Pesci is great but Marisa Tomei is everything. Completely deserving Oscar winning performance.
- brycowardJune 25, 2025My Cousin Vinny is a hilarious fish-out-of-water story, proving Joe Pesci is just as good at comedy as he is at being a tough guy. Marisa Tomei steals every scene she's in and delivers an Oscar-winning performance that is truly iconic. While the movie definitely feels like it's from the 90s, the sharp jokes and clever story are timeless. It's a fun and brilliant classic that absolutely holds up today.
- Eric BakkeJune 4, 2025Is it the best courtroom movie of all time? Yes, I believe it is!
- TomVaderMay 28, 2025Joe Pesci, as a lawyer in a small town riddled with incompetent officials, and a cousin in trouble. It's funny as hell, even though I personally find Marisa Tomei kind of annoying.
