- Kevin WardJuly 1, 2025Pretty good doc that spotlights the original black founders of MoviePass, Stacy Spikes and Hamet Watt. Made me nostalgic for that glorious and short-lived era that was the MoviePass unlimited movies for $9.99/mo. Shameful what Lowe and Farnsworth did to that company, their investors and their clients, but at the same time it was sure fun while it lasted. 😆. I was really glad to find out that Spikes is behind the new iteration of MoviePass, because I have been using it since it’s reemergence and have been extremely happy. 🤩
