- Scott SmithJuly 26, 2025I'm not sure how this movie slipped past me on VHS tape in 1990. It was exactly the type of cheap horror movie that I liked back then. Plus, it has a younger Bruce Campbell in it. Sure, it looks cheesy and has cheap effects, but for it's time and budget it's not a bad movie. Glad I finally watched it.
- Vincent ReggianniniJuly 21, 2025You have to watch this film and take it for what it is. It’s simplistic, not very deep or compelling but makes for a decent late-night sci-fi romp to have on in the background. I am a Star Trek fan- The Original Series version, so I am used to giving a lot of slack to entertainment that might lack for depth and convincing special effects. It’s all about the stories and keeping yourself entertained for a few hours. It has a lot of Alien in its DNA, sprinkled with Terminator and of course Srak Trek. Walter Koenig is convincing enough to keep the story going, and an early Bruce Campbell keeps you fixated for most of the story. If you’re looking for ground-breaking cinema look elsewhere, but if you want to throw on some light-weight sci-fi late at night this fits the bill perfectly.
