    Blown away!

This movie is honestly impressive in the worst possible way. It’s so stupid, bad, and painfully dragged out that it somehow loops back around from “fun dumb disaster movie” to just exhausting. Usually movies like this are at least entertaining if you turn your brain off, but Moonfall somehow even fails at that. The effects are decent sometimes and there are a couple moments where the sheer insanity almost becomes funny, but the dialogue is rough, the characters are paper thin, and the pacing feels endless. It’s basically two hours of nonstop nonsense without any of the charm disaster movies usually have.

Moon fall is a Korean Romance about how the moon fell from orbit. This is by far one 9f the stupidest movies ever but my god do I love it so. I could mention how the acting is and what not but we all know who the hell cares.. The moon is falling from orbit cause it's a super structure built by aliens and has a smoke monster in it. Yep. 10/10 best movie ever

It’s happened. A Roland Emmerich film has become self aware and is going to destroy us all. This film is legitimately hysterical. I’m completely in awe that this film was made.  There are so many nonsensical storylines happening all at once, its a thing of beauty.  I don’t care what anyone says, this is a must watch. Possibly the funniest movie of the year.

Nominated "Worst Movie of the Year", I tried twice to watch it to the end but couldn't. So much is wrong with this flick and I'm not even talking about the moon parts. Physics, equipment, time constraints, all make very little sense. The retired Endeavour shuttle could never fly again since its been heavily modified and had loads of hardware removed for its museum display. Hell, it doesn't even have its engines no more, the ones you see at the CSC in L.A. are replicas, mockups. Also, the spacecraft in wich they go to the moon is flown and burning fuel like it's a jetfighter. Halle Berry, sadly, looks like she's wondering wth she's doing in this movie. Considering its considerable budget, the cgi mostly suck. Moonfall is really awful. Don't waste your time.

My quick rating - 5.8/10. The trendy things to do are completely dog on this and say Roland Emmerich just can't make good flix anymore. I found amusement seeing these comments since the sheeple most likely are so busy watching the lemming in front to not realize his last movie was Midway, which was pretty damn good. And if you roll up and down his filmography, I bet you'll be pleased with most. I did say MOST (everyone but me hated his take on Godzilla). With that aside, I liked this flick for a few reasons; It mixed big-budget effects with a completely B-budget script, and it made sure that when you thought it couldn't get sillier, it does. The conspiracy theory that is created in this is just slightly below the nonsense that Taylor-Greene comes up with, but it is still very creative. The main point of this is that a strange occurrence knocks the moon from its normal orbit and is sending it on a path to collide with Earth. Much of the movie consists of all the natural disasters that would occur if this did happen, including city-destroying tidal waves and insane flux in the weather across the globe. But with all of this happening, there needs to be characters trying to get to a safe place, while there are also those who are attempting to save the planet. Brian Harper (Patrick Wilson) is a disgraced astronaut who saves a space shuttle mission but returns home to instead be blamed for human error and betrayed by fellow astronaut Jocinda Fowler (Halle Berry). All of this will become important later on, except in reality, I doubt you'll really invest much into them, since all the characters seemed like stand-ins just doing what is expected without any emotional investment. Minus John Bradley, who saves scenes singlehandedly throughout with his geeky comic relief as the nerd who discovered what was going on long before the government caught wind of it. Most of the movie is about running around trying to survive while horrible climate-induced disasters are occurring. And then the whole thing is turned completely original yet totally creative, crazed conspiracy of what the Moon actually is LOL. And if you suspend all parts of your brain that process rational thinking, it is a LOT of fun theories they come up with. No spoilers, so I'll leave you with that. Complete popcorn flick that is way out there, and I found it pretty damn entertaining.

half a star for patrick wilson and michael pena, i just like those dudes. the rest of the cast, including halle berry, is absolutely terrible. hardly ever have i seen a cast this inept. horrible. then there is the story. not gonna go into that, but.....O-M-G. seriously, if you're making a disaster movie and you feel you have to include a bunch of - of course - white redneck a*holes as villains to spice up the action, then boy, you missed the plot brother. no, just no. i will say this though.....i do not remember laughing this hard for a long time when they tried to setup a sequel. i had tears in my eyes.
