März 2026One of my favorites.. Monty Python rules
- MeghannB19. März 2025The grim reality of the dark middle ages, but make it hilarious. Is it the perfect movie? No. Is it absurd? Yes. Do i use the phrase "TIS BUT A FLESH WOUND" more than I should? Also yes. It's not a question of should you see it, but WHY haven't you seen it already. And if you have...what's your favorite line to quote?
- thomasrogers7534. Oktober 2025I don’t know why but my favorite part was the on going bit of the no horses
- flavo4324. November 2025Monty Python and the Holy Grail is pure comedic brilliance, a film that gleefully skewers Arthurian legend with the troupe’s trademark absurdity and razor-sharp wit. From the moment the “Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch” is introduced, you know you’re in for something unforgettable. I still can’t stop laughing at its iconic scenes—the indomitable Black Knight insisting “it’s just a flesh wound,” the ferocious Rabbit of Caerbannog tearing through knights, and the Knights Who Say “Ni!” demanding shrubbery. Each moment is ridiculous, quotable, and timeless. The film’s structure, intercut with a bizarre police investigation, adds another layer of insanity, making you wonder whether Arthur and his knights were simply a group of overzealous reenactors running amok in the forest. That playful blending of medieval fantasy and modern-day silliness is exactly what makes the movie so unique. Monty Python and the Holy Grail isn’t just a comedy classic—it’s a cultural treasure that remains endlessly rewatchable.

- cyberkn5. November 2025You don't need a review. Ask for a review again and I will be forced to say 'ni!'
- AtzeGold15. Oktober 2025Wonderfully crazy film just to laugh out loud 😂😂
- Michael Surber29. April 2025I saw this in the theater way back in 1975 and it led to years of watching and rewatching. Completely absurd in all aspects but it manages to keep going to the bitter end. Not for everyone but then again, what is?
- Elliot0473. Februar 2026Pardon my recalcitrance! But is this film 'Scary Movie' of old people? If yes, then Marlin's Beard.
- makdelart28. Januar 2026Delicious humour, but the pace slows down a bit here and there. Still, ‘Brian’ is the best.
- wonderrxjr16. Januar 2026God the comedy is so so good I was laughing so hard. Like it's so smart and silly with all the skits and jokes I love it. Shout out to the teacher in middle school who would show us clips of this all the time but refused to show the full thing.
- carlijustice3. Januar 2026Always a classic!. Silly, witty, and a delight to watch!
- Sam11. Dezember 2025apparently it doesnt get better than this so i shant be watching any others unless someone else really wants to or i feel like it for some reason
- johnmartinryan9. Dezember 2025This movie is legendary, from the dozen quotable lines, and an extra half a dozen quotable scenes. This is the peak of British humor! However it feels like they used up all of the best lines in the first half of the film, and forgot that they were writing for a movie and not a show. The film’s second half drags on, and makes you wonder what’s happening. Then ends suddenly.
- Peter Bickford7. Dezember 2025An all time favorite. When I discovered that my mother had never seen it, concluded--along with my sister--that there were likely whole years of the 70s and 80s that she couldn't have possibly understood what we were laughing about without having watched the movie. And we then began reciting, word for word, whole passages from it. Most Gen xers can do the same.
