- iPtrckJuly 11, 2026The live-action Moana is incredible—honestly it's even better than the original animated version! Take it from a parent who has had to watch the original twice a day on a never-ending loop: the critics have it totally wrong. Don't listen to the people who just complain for a living. My kids are a bit older now, but they loved this version just as much as we loved the original the very first time. Do yourself a favor, ignore the reviews, and don't spend the whole time comparing it to the animated. Just watch it and enjoy it for what it is!
- barryl361d agoThree stars for good. Though one of the better live-action remakes for Disney, it was not an improvement. That will not matter to a child. They get to see the real, live, Moana!
